We also offer clinical supervision services in couple or individual therapy since 2017 in sexology and psychotherapy. You can also listen to the podcast: REKINDLE DESIRE for a wide range of information on sexuality. We follow various training courses related to this profession of sexologist to improve our services.
The sexologists at our clinic have a variety of experience in sexology to help individuals and couples work on their sexuality. We are members of the Ordre professionnels des sexologues du Québec (OPSQ) and the Association des sexologues du Québec (ASQ). Many sexologists have a psychotherapist or psychologist permit issued by the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ) and a certificate for the evaluation of sexual disorders issued by the OPSQ.

Caring and confidential support to help you better understand your intimate life, overcome your relationship difficulties and find a lasting emotional and sexual balance.
The rates are organized into three categories according to the type of service. Psychotherapy sessions offered by a trainee (master’s candidate in clinical sexology) are at a reduced cost of $80. Counselling services with a bachelor’s sexologist range from $120 to $155 depending on the service. The psychotherapy services offered by a sexologist, psychotherapist or psychologist-sexologist vary between $120 and $160 depending on the professional. All services are exempt from taxes.
In general, a therapeutic process takes between 15 and 20 sessions, although this can vary. The exact number depends on several factors: your involvement in the therapy, the quality of the therapeutic relationship established with your sexologist, the nature and causes of your difficulty, as well as its duration and evolution. It is very rare that a single session is enough to resolve a sexual difficulty, since the first meetings are used to assess the situation and define goals.
Bachelor’s sexologists have a bachelor’s degree in sexology and offer individual or couple counselling services. Sexologist-psychotherapists also have a master’s degree in clinical sexology and hold a psychotherapist’s permit issued by the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ), which allows them to offer psychotherapy and evaluate sexual disorders (OPSQ certificate). Psychologists-sexologists, such as Renaud Le Gall, have combined training in psychology and sexology, which explains their higher rate (up to $160).
The clinic supports individuals and couples for a wide range of sexual and relationship difficulties: erectile difficulties, rapid or premature ejaculation, decreased sexual desire, infidelity, communication problems, recurrent bickering, pain during relationships (such as vaginismus), questions about sexual orientation or gender identity, and difficulties related to intimacy. Three sexologists also offer meetings to obtain letters for hormone therapy or for transition surgeries, and several accept IVAC (Compensation for Victims of Crime) mandates.
The reimbursement depends entirely on your insurance policy. If your plan covers “psychotherapy”, sessions with a sexologist psychotherapist or a psychologist are generally reimbursed, since according to Quebec law, both offer the same psychotherapy service. If your insurance only covers “psychologists”, reimbursement is not guaranteed, even if some companies are flexible. The services of a sexologist without a psychotherapy license are rarely covered. In all cases, the expenses are tax-deductible as medical expenses — keep your receipts.
Yes, the clinic offers both in-person and webcam consultations. Several members of the team work exclusively or mostly on webcam, which makes it possible to consult without traveling to Montreal. Three location options are available: the Montreal office, an office in Pintendre (Quebec City area, with Nadia Rioux), or by webcam. To make an appointment, you can use the GoRendezVous online system, fill out the request form on the website, or call 438-934-1287 Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Payment is made by Interac transfer (credit cards are not accepted).
